Charles Martinez Torres
September 11, 1927 – January 24, 2023 Charles M. Torres, 95, of Redlands, CA, a brother, husband, father, grand- father, great-grandfather passed away peacefully on January 24, 2023. He was born September 11, 1927 to Leonard Sr and Soledad Torres. He was a WWII veteran in the United States Army stationed in Alaska. He worked 30+ years as a mechanic, welder and sprayer in the Redlands orange grove business to Jack Clay and Frank Jacinto & Sons. He loved his dogs and spending time with his family and friends, his past time was camping and fishing in the sierra’s and walking along the sands at Doheny Beach. He would always be fixing stuff in his garage and tinkering with his 1964 Chevy truck. He is survived by his 2 daughters, Charlene Aguirre (Mike) and Teresa Seleska (Gary) all from Redlands. Also 5 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and his siblings Tony Torres, Dolores Cruz, Richard Torres and Pete Torres. He was preceded in death by his wife Lucy Torres and daughters Shirley Torres, Olivia Jirsa and son Daniel Torres, his siblings Frank Torres, Leonard Torres Jr., MaryEllen Almendarez and Jess Torres.
