Clayton Francis Farrell
CLAYTON FRANCIS FARRELL (RETIRED USAF MSGT) Clayton Francis Farrell, 94, of Highland, California, passed away on December 30, 2022 after living a very full life. Clayton was born in Nova Scotia, Canada and enjoyed many summer visits there after his final retirement as shop supervisor for the San Bernardino County Housing Authority. Clayton was predeceased by his loving wife of 62 years Mary (Fennelly) Farrell. He is survived by three daughters, Janice (Douglas) Jackson of Georgia, Lori (Farrell) Fischer and husband Steven of N. Carolina and Shawna (Farrell) Paramo and husband Keith of Redlands, CA. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Jill & Logan Garner and husband Jason of Georgia and Jacob Kornrumpf of Highland, CA (his devoted caretaker), one sister Eileen Haynes of Guysborough, N. Scotia as well as many beloved nieces and nephews, relatives and dear friends. Clay and Mary traveled the world while in the USAF, making many lifelong friends along the way. Clay had letters upon letters of recommendation for being the man who could get the job done and was highly sought after for his leadership skills. He was also known as a charming man having sparkling blue eyes, an avid story teller, loyal to his heritage, his family, and his friends, and one who would always offer a meal or something to drink to passersby. Over his many years he enjoyed cameras, dancing, playing cards, watching hockey, playing the guitar, talking on his ham radio and tinkering on his trucks, but hands down the two passions of his life were his annual hunting trips with his two best buddies John and Byron and his cats Kaileigh and Mr. Gray.
