In his retirement he enjoyed his cars, hunting and fishing with his boys, cruising Lake Mohave on his boat, as well as spending time with Jackie and the family at his vacation home in Bullhead City, AZ. Don especially loved Bishop Amat and Chino High football, but was always the number one fan of any team his children and grandchildren were playing on, which also included Chino Hills High, Ayala High, Norco High, Roosevelt High, and Damien High.
