Eugene Boyd
Eugene Boyd/aka Jr. Holliday, age 84, was born in Philadelphia, Mississippi on June 27, 1937. On January 24, 2022, God decided He needed to call Eugene home, therefore, Eugene passed away without warning. Eugene enlisted in the United States Air Force, where he served 4 years. He had a real passion & strong love for golfing, which was found out while working as a caddy in Mississippi. Eugene was taught by a golf pro. He then became an avid golfer winning many tournaments over the years. He was also invited to play in tournaments by influential people because of his skill set ability. Eugene also loved reading his Bible on a day to day base, having very strong faith in the Lord, our God. He also took care of, and gave so much love to these two small dogs (George & Berry), like they were newborn babies, which was left by the passing of his wife Emma. Eugene Boyd is survived by his 3 children: Danny Boyd, Terry Boyd, and Gary Boyd. Also left behind 10 grandchildren: Danny Jr., Jermaine, TreVaughn, Shandalier, Janiece, Nehemiah, Matt, Callie, Ashley, and Jonathan. As well as 8 great grandchildren. Preceding him in death was his mother (Callie Mae Boyd), ex-wife (Niece Boyd), and late wife Emma Boyd. Eugene was also survived by extended family members and a host of many wonderful friends.
