Floyd Truett
June 29, 1935 – July 17, 2021 Floyd passed away from congestive heart failure at Somerford Place of Redlands care center at the age of 86. He was born in Danville, Illinois and lived in Riverside, CA for 60 years, previously in Connersville, Indiana for 20 years. He served in the Army, SP4 (1957-1961) in South Korea. He worked for Stater Bros. for 35 years retiring in 1996. Floyd was an exceptional man. In 1962, at age 27, he married Lina and became stepfather to her four sons. They later had their own son, Michael. Floyd and Lina remained married until her death in 2012. Floyd is survived by sons Bill Powers and his wife Bari of Henderson, NV and Mike Truett and his wife Chris of Redlands, CA; 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
