Freddie Lopez

Freddie Y. Lopez, 87 went to be with our Lord on Friday, December 11, 2020. He was born February 28, 1933 in Indio, California. He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years Lupe Lopez. One brother, Arthur Richard Lopez. Father to 4 children, Ted (wife Erin), Rosa Dearing (husband Daniel), Rene Roedel (husband James), Joe (wife Patty). He was grandfather to Jeremy Lopez (Sarah), Joshua Lopez (Leah), Chrystal Torres (Art), Jessica Dearing, Rachel Haney (Jordan), Fallon Haney (Jay), James Roedel Jr., Jacob Roedel, and Anthony Lopez. He had 9 Great grandchildren. He was a Deacon for “Breath of the Spirit Ministry” and was baptized in the river Jordan during his trip to the “Holy Land”. He served during the Korean War as a paratrooper with the 11th Airborne. He retired as a master machinist from Rohr Industries after 44 years. He was a volunteer coach for Little League, youth basketball, youth and high school football, and coached men’s fastpitch softball.
