Gerald Miller
September 9, 1948 – February 24, 2021 With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Gerald E. Miller aka Jerry Miller, a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather on February 24, 2021. Jerry was born September 9, 1948 at Riverside Community Hospital to the late William & Bertha Miller. After his graduation from Ramona High School in 1967, Jerry joined the United States Marine Corp and served from 1968 1972. He earned his Associates Degree from Riverside City College and then joined the Riverside Police Department in January of 1973. Over his twenty-three years of service, Jerry was most known as *Motor 31* where he spent ten years as a motor officer. Jerry is survived by his wife Shirley, three sons, Randy, Gerald and Eric and three daughters, Robin, Kari and Erin and many grandchildren. Jerry had a sense of adventure, a *need for speed * and loved to spend his younger years at the Parker Strip in his race boat. He loved to golf, jeep and ride his motorcycle. He spent many years cruising Lake Havasu in his boat and loved to hang out with friends and family on the water. Jerry was a fair and levelheaded man, he was patient and loving, he was calm and cool, he was understanding and accepting, he was our hero, husband, father, and papa. He will be greatly missed.
