Harold Hubbs

Harold Edward Hubbs, born in Colton, CA in 1946, passed away August 29, 2018 from complications of pulmonary fibrosis due to asbestos. Harold was an Army Veteran and retiree from the California-Portland Cement Plant after 42 years. Survived by his wife of 34 years, Mary Alice, together they had two children, 4 grandkids, and 4 great-grandkids. His family will remember him fondly as an inspiration of how to be a loving husband, loyal friend, and devoted Christian.

Remembering Grandpa, his oldest grandson, Scott, shared that he was the type of grandpa every kid wants – from sitting on the floor playing with racecars to sliding belly-first into base in the front yard ballfield. The large number of family, life-long friends, and co-workers visiting him at Redlands Community Hospital brought joy to his final days. He wanted to thank you all for the kind words, stories and shared memories.
