Henry Gonzales
HENRY MENDOZA GONZALES Henry Mendoza Gonzales, age 93, passed away at his home in Riverside, Ca. surrounded by his loving family. He was born in La Verne Ca. to Placido Gonzales and Maria Mendoza Gonzales. Henry is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Irene Parra Gonzales and children: Martha, Johnny, Julie, Virgie, Annette and Ricky Gonzales, Fernando Gonzales and Percy Diaz. In 1950 he enlisted In the U.S. Army and served our country proudly in the Korean War. After the war he worked in Los Angeles for Swift & Co. and S.E. Rykoff. He resided in the East Los Angeles/ Montebello for 32 years. After retirement he moved to Apple Valley and Riverside areas. He was a hardworking man who loved taking his family out on camping trips and will always be remembered for singing and playing his guitar at family gatherings. He leaves behind 26 grand, 54 great grand and 14 great great grandchildren. He will forever be in our hearts.
