James Keeran
James E. Keeran, 90, a 55 year resident of Palm Desert, California passed away Thursday, November 10, 2022 at his second home in Three Creeks Arkansas. He was born September 25, 1932 in Clarinda, Iowa to Ralph Keeran and Mona Kellogg Keeran. James was a Veteran of the United States Air Force and worked as an engineer for General Telephones/Verizon for 36 years. He was a member of University Baptist Church in Palm Desert, California and Three Creeks Baptist Church in El Dorado, Arkansas. He was a member of the Nodaway Lodge in Clarinda, Iowa. A Scout Master of the Boy Scout troop 76 in Palm Desert. A leader in Boy Scout’s of America Order of the Arrow Cahuilla Lodge and the Wood badge Leadership training. He enjoyed singing in the choir at University Baptist Church and a member of The Joslyn Singers in Palm Desert. He also was a volunteer at Carter Elementary School as a parking lot monitor. Preceding him in death are his parents, his first wife of 48 years, Joycelyn Keeran; a brother, Don and his wife Bonnie; and a sister, Phyllis Lederer and her husband Herman. Survivors include his wife, Hilda Ware Keeran of El Dorado; a son, Robert Keeran (Heidi), a son, Michael Keeran (Michele), a daughter, Marcie Condon, a son, Scott Keeran (Elena), Debbie Stultz (Jesse), Jay Green (Nila); grandchildren, Cali Keeran, Connor Keeran, Jaymi Nielsen (Josh), Megan Lancaster (Reid), Matthew Keeran (Jacqueline), Cameron Condon (Courtney), Levi Condon (Tianna Goodchild), Addison Condon (Larissa Benavides), Mavrick Keeran, Parker Keeran, Michael Summerville (Lindsey), Jeana Summerville, Jamey Summerville, Alanna Donahue (Wes), Kelsey Powers (Jordan); and great grandchildren, Madelyn, Darby, and Jason Nielsen, Emmy, Brave, and Delaney Lancaster, Nixon and Banks Keeran, Oliver and Elsie Condon, Noah Condon, Wesley and Kayden Summerville, Aubrey Dorrell, Kailey, Sadie, and Ellie Donahue, Tenley and Chandler Powers.
