James Moffatt

James (Jim) Moffatt Jim Moffatt, 87, of Rancho Cucamonga, CA, passed away peacefully at home on March 31, 2021, surrounded by family and friends. He was born to parents James and Maricela in Walkerville, Canada. Jim graduated from Roseville High School, Class of 1952 in Roseville, Michigan. After high school Jim enlisted in the United States Air Force and served from 1952-1956. He worked for Thom McAn Shoes for 45 years. After retirement he owned Red Hill Coffee Shop for 20 years. Jim is survived by sisters Mary Smith and Sharon Davidson. He is also survived by his son Jimmie (Laura) Moffatt and daughter Patti (Chris) Hughes as well as a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Jim was predeceased by his parents and brothers Bill and Thom and sister Emily. Jim was known for his many hobbies that included racing his pigeons, being an extra in many tv shows and movies and spending time at the USO in Ontario, Ca welcoming soldiers on their layovers. His big smile and hearty laugh will be greatly missed. Jim will forever be The man, the myth, the legend.
