Jesus Olivarez

Jesus A. Olivarez (Jess) March 29, 1944 – December 27, 2020 Jess was raised in San Bernardino, CA and remained a proud resident. Jess served in Thailand as a Communications Specialist for the U.S. Army from 1965-1967, worked for Kaiser Steel for 17 years, and served as a California Corrections Officer for 20 years. Jess was well known for his sense of humor and his artistic talent; painting windows every Christmas season for 47 years. Jess is survived by his wife, Marta, 4 children: Olivia (Gerry), Jesus Jr. (Maria), Gilbert (Crystal), and Andrea (Rudy), 14 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, 2 sisters, and 2 brothers. Jess was preceded into death by parents Jesus and Maximina Olivarez, and brother Manuel Olivares. Jess will be missed tremendously by all.
