Julian Bastian
Julian Leonard Bastian was born on September 18, 1929, in Key West, Florida to Albert E. and Rosetta L. Bastian. Julian passed away on December 14, 2020. He was one of 13 siblings. He was preceded in death by his parents and all but one of his siblings. Julian was married to Alphonsine “Sine” Bastian until her death in 2003. He moved his family to Riverside in the late 1950s. He was a MSgt. in the Air Force and received an honorable discharge in the 1970s. Despite being legally blind, Julian obtained several degrees from Riverside Community College after his retirement. He is survived by his four daughters, six grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
