Kevin John Tennies
1951 – 2023 Kevin J. Tennies passed peacefully in his sleep on February 24, 2023 in Riverside, CA at the age of 71. He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years Shelley Tennies and lovingly remembered by his two sons, Nicholas (Hollee) Tennies and Matthew (Corina) Tennies, his brothers Robert Tennies and Michael (Barbara) Tennies, his sisters Suzanne Tennies, Mary Tennies-Mosely and Maureen (Steve) Bunn, and before passing, he was blessed with two grandchildren, Georgia Rahleigh Tennies and Maverick Robert Tennies. Kevin was preceded in death by his brother Patrick (Sarah) Tennies. Kevin was a veteran of the United States Air Force. After serving, he received his A.A. degree, worked in construction, worked as a UPS driver, then opened his own carpentry business where he worked from 2012 through retirement. Kevin will be remembered most for the love he showed his wife, children, family, friends, and dogs. He was always happy to lend a helping hand to family and friends for their carpentry needs. He enjoyed playing golf with his boys, monthly poker games with his friends, vacationing with his wife, and taking the dogs on walks. His loved ones will miss him dearly and keep his memory close to their hearts.
