Mitchell Hopkins

August 20, 1936 – May 13, 2021 Mitchell J. Hopkins, 84, passed away May 13th after a 4-year battle with Dementia. He was born in Ontario, California the eldest of three siblings and graduated from Chaffey High School before completing his education at Mt. SAC. A Pomona resident for over 62 years, he served a decade in the Naval Reserves and was a proud employee of General Dynamics, retiring as Tool Engineer Supervisor after 37 years. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Shirley, his sister, Cheryl, his children Mitchell Todd, Kevin, Troy, and Starla, as well as his 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. His legacy of love and kindness have touched countless hearts throughout his many years on this Earth; he will be greatly missed.
