Myron Moreno
Myron “Libby” Gilbert Moreno went home to Jesus on December 16, 2022, at the age of 72. Libby was born to Gilbert and Jesse Moreno on September 15, 1950, in Upland, California. He was raised in Chino, CA, and graduated from Chino High School in 1969. Libby joined the US Navy and served in the Vietnam war aboard the USS Kitty Hawk (CV-63) 70′-72′. He worked and retired from the state of California Youth Authority (YTS) as an auto body and paint instructor. Libby served in the Bill Glass Prison Ministries and prominent roles in his church, In addition to being a loving husband and dedicated father, Libby was known for the love he had for his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, a huge fan of the LA Dodgers and LA Rams, his comical jokes that always had someone laughing, spending time with his grandchildren, and a heart that reflected Christ’s love for one another. Libby is survived by his wife Linda Moreno, daughter Ana Moreno, and his sons Jordan (Andrya) Bodnar, Nathan (Veronica) Bodnar, and Brian Bodnar. His 15 grandchildren, siblings Stella (Vincent) Duran (Chino) and Delores (Bob) Pereida (Sacramento), and numerous nieces and nephews. Libby was preceded in death by his parents Gilbert & Jesse Moreno, brothers Gilbert Jr. and Tony Moreno, and first wife Betty Schadt.
