Robert Hise

November 19, 1932 – June 30, 2021 Robert George (“Bob”) Hise, was a resident of Las Vegas, NV for 48 years, beloved husband, brother, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, cousin and friend. Son of George Hise and Dorene Welty, Bob grew-up in Los Angeles and Monterey Park, CA. After high school (Mark Keppel HS), Bob joined the Army and served in Korea and Germany. Corporal Hise was a decorated Korean War combat veteran. A plaque honoring Bob’s service to the United States of America is located at the La Verne Veterans Memorial. Bob began his career in Southern California with positions in construction, logistics and hospitality. Shortly after marrying Eva, the love of his life, they moved to Las Vegas where they enjoyed long and successful careers in the hospitality industry. In addition, while in Las Vegas, Bob became a member of the Acacia Masonic Lodge # 49 in North Las Vegas where he held positions of honor and leadership that included Worshipful Master. In both his personal and business life, Bob loved comradery and enjoyed serving others and especially spending time with his family and friends. As a crowning achievement in his life, Bob was in recent years reunited with his daughters Rebekah and Angelina (gratitude goes to Ancestry.com). Bob was preceded in death by his loving wife Eva Mae Hise (nee Gober) (they were married for 50 years), sisters Marilyn J. Burns (nee Hise-Dynes), Judith Burright (nee Dynes), and brother Dennis H. Dynes. He is survived by his sister Ellen Beeton (nee Dynes) of Ontario, CA; his daughters Rebekah Wasserzieher (nee Hise) (Ken) of Aitkin MN and Angelina Nanos (nee Hise-Mogyorody) (Gus), of Rancho Cucamonga, CA, brother-in-law Larry Burright of Glendora, CA, sister-in-law Yvonne Dynes of Temple City, CA and over 50 nephews and nieces and great nephews and great nieces. He was blessed with three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
