Santos Valencia

Santos Audelio Valencia of Mentone, Californa died on 12/13/2021. Santos left this world peacefully, and free of pain listening to a video of himself singing to his beloved wife, Claudia Valencia for their 60th wedding anniversary in 2013. The last thing he heard was her voice and the sounds of family, talking, laughing and cheering him on in his serenade. Santos, a much loved, Husband, Father, Brother, Grandfather, Uncle, Friend and Mentor, was born & raised in Albuquerque, N.M. Santos served in the United States Army, and served his country in the Korean conflict. He earned his Purple Heart honors there and was a proud Veteran. He was preceded in death by parents Perfelino Valencia & Delfina Valencia and grandson Anthony Pailzote. He is survived by his wife, Claudia Valencia; daughters, Lois Chavez, Becky Valencia and Rose Valencia; grandchildren, Christine Chavez, Santos Chavez, Reymundo Chavez, Julia Romero, Francisco Rodriguez, Christopher Rodriguez, Danielle Nieto, Daniel Nieto, Angelleah Valencia, & Andres Sanchez; his sister Emma Sedillo; 22 great grandchildren; 8 great, great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
