Tony Jack McGuyer was born in 1945 to Murray and Jimmie B. McGuyer, in Fort Sumner, New Mexico. Raised on a farm, he was driving a tractor at age 11. Tony was drafted into the military in 1965, and served 20 years in the Air Force, 9 years of that overseas. After his military service, he worked in the corporate world for 10 years, and then taught high school special education for 19 years. He was a lifelong learner and held four University degrees, including an M.S. in Systems Management from the prestigious Viterbi School of Engineering at University of Southern California. Tony was a recorded singer/songwriter and his music was distributed all over the world. He is preceded in death by his parents, and the love of his youth, first wife Kathy Dyan McGuyer. He is survived by his Gift from God, second wife Linda Michele McGuyer, daughter Judith Gutierrez (husband Dionicio), son Yell McGuyer (wife Ellen), and four grandchildren. Tony loved God and his fellow man, and tried his best to serve both.
