Walter Lamp
08/23/1930 – 09/18/2021 Walter Lamp was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He entered into eternal life on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at home surrounded by his loving family. Walt was born on August 23, 1930 in Stryker, Ohio to Fred and Donna Lamp, he was 91. Walt was a veteran of the Korean War (1950 1953), serving in the Coast Guard. He and his wife Cleo married on September 6, 1954 and were together almost 70 years. They settled in Ontario, California, where he retired from Blue Diamond trucking in 1991. Walt was a hunter and accomplished fisherman. The family enjoyed camping, the sand dunes of Glamis and Pismo, and his off-road racing. Those who knew Walt will remember and miss his witty jokes. His memory will be cherished by his wife Cleo and their two daughters, Montie and Linda, son-in-laws, five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
