William Hanson

William Dulcie Hanson passed away peacefully in his sleep on 12/11/19 in Roseburg, OR at the age of 93. One day before his birthday. Dulcie is survived by his wife Marjetta Hanson, loving son James Maitland and wife Pat Maitland. Sister Beatrice Hanson, Grandchildren, Stephanie Koetje, Kenneth Maitland, Russell Maitland and Suzanne Maitland Riedel, and great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Dulcie was born on December 12th, 1925 in Clay County Alabama to Arthur Jackson Hanson and Peachie Aldena Jones. Dulcie was a proud WWII Veteran and he retired in the 1980’s as a Structural Aerospace Mechanic for McDonald Douglas. Dulcie moved to The Salton Sea area with his wife for retirement where they used their home as a place to stay between all their travels. Visiting different countries and driving their motorhome everywhere they could or as long as there was good fishing then they settled down in Sutherlin Oregon. He was a dedicated and generous individual who loved Marjetta and who was passionate about all things fishing.
